Step into the world of Norwegian fairy tales and folklore. The Troll Museum in Tromsø is the first and only museum in Norway dedicated to trolls and folk beliefs. Its exhibitions are brought to life with the help of augmented reality (AR) technology.

The museum is just a one-minute walk from the hotel.

Right in the heart of Tromsø you’ll find the cathedral – the only Protestant cathedral in Norway built entirely of wood.

The surrounding Cathedral Park served as a burial ground from the Middle Ages until the early 19th century, and a few historic graves can still be seen today.

Join an exotic road trip through valleys and fjords, past oceans and lakes, white beaches and iconic bridges. The journey typically takes you from Tromsø to Sommarøy – one of the most scenic routes in the area.

The trip takes between 4–5 hours, and we recommend bringing warm clothing, even in summer. A meal is included.

Tromsø’s geographical location makes it one of the best places in the world to see the Northern Lights. And it’s an experience that doesn’t have to cost a thing – just head out to a dark spot away from city lights.

There are also plenty of guided Northern Lights tours for those who prefer extra insight and comfort.

The best chance to see the lights is between September and April.

Experience the “top of Tromsø” and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city, surrounding mountains, fjords, and islands.

The cable car to Mount Storsteinen takes just a few minutes. If you're up for a challenge, you can also climb the Sherpa steps – 1,200 of them! A visit to the mountaintop restaurant will feel well-earned after the climb. Just check opening hours before you go.

The striking and architecturally spectacular Arctic Cathedral is an absolute must when visiting Tromsø. Inspired by snow and ice, the church’s dramatic design and exterior lighting have made it one of the city’s most beloved landmarks.

If possible, try to attend one of the many concerts held here. If you visit during the Midnight Sun season, take note of how the light creates a magical glow through the stained-glass windows – it's truly stunning.

Located in the heart of Tromsø, just outside the city centre, Polaria is the world’s northernmost aquarium. Here you can explore marine life including fish, seals, shellfish, and sea plants from the waters around Tromsø and Svalbard.

The aquarium also features a panoramic cinema and exhibitions focusing on the environmental changes taking place in the Arctic.

Lead a team of eager huskies through the snow-covered Arctic landscape! We start the adventure with a lesson on controlling your husky team. Two people share each sled (a driver and a passenger) with the option of switching places halfway.

– Starting activity point is about 15 minutes walking uphill to our wilderness camp.
– The recommended minimum age for this activity is 7. For any below ages, please send us a special request.
– This activity is not recommended for pregnant women, people with physical health problems and/or back pains.

This activity can only be booked during the winter season between November 16th - March 31st.

This snowmobiling excursion is designed for people wanting to try out this unique arctic vehicle for the first time. We drive in pairs (one driver and one passenger) with the possibility to swap places halfway.

Please note:
- All drivers must be aged 18+ y/o and hold a valid driving license.
- All passengers must be aged 12 y/o or over.
- Guests are transported by bus to the start-up location.
- This activity is not allowed for pregnant women and people with physical health problems.
- Each sessions requires 2 persons to be the minimum amount of participants, in case of only one perticipant for a session - it will be moved or cancelled.

- All equipment: helmet, warm thermal suit, boots, gloves and hat.
- A hot light meal (vegetarian food is served if prior notice is given).

Join a journey through the Sami culture. The Sami are the indigenous people living in the northern extremities of Europe. Join a lavvo (Sami’s tent) to hear fascinating stories about the indigenous people’s way of life, their history and faith, in the glow from the fire inside the lavvo. You get to see traditional Sami objects and taste authentic Sami food, cooked on the fire.

You will also get to visit and feed the reindeer that graze near the lavvo, as well as learn about the traditions of reindeer husbandry. Guests can also learn the art of throwing a lasso! As a souvenir, our guide will help you create your own work of art from reindeer antlers.

- The recommended minimum age limit for this activity is 5 years old. Young children must be accompanied and are under the parent’s responsibility.
